That whole thing about the Atlanta Braves picking up Reed Johnson's option for 2014? Never mind, they declined it, according to an @braves tweet.

The Braves had a $1.6 million option on Johnson for next year, but they instead bought out said option for $150,000. General manager Frank Wren said that doesn't necessarily mean Johnson won't be back in Atlanta next season.

Johnson hit .244 in 74 games last season while battling Achilles tendonitis.
