The Atlanta Braves and Dickey Broadcasting Company have agreed to extend their broadcasting partnership, with Don Sutton and Jim Powell in the booth to call the games at least through 2014, braves.com reports.
The deal is said to extend "beyond 2014," but no other details are given. On the AM dial, Braves games will still be on 680 The Fan, while the FM station has been switched to All News 106.7.
"Dickey Broadcasting has been a fantastic partner and rightsholder, and we're excited to continue our partnership," Braves executive vice president of sales and marketing Derek Schiller said. "We look forward to growing Braves programming and hearing our games on All News 106.7 while we continue to give Atlanta Braves fans throughout the Southeast the best radio broadcast in baseball with Don and Jim at the helm."
Sutton has spent 23 of the last 25 years calling Braves games on TV and/or radio, while Powell has joined him for the last five seasons after working 13 years with Bob Uecker broadcasting Milwaukee Brewers games.
