Reports are circulating that two teams who are looking to unload their second basemen may end up swapping them. In this case, it would be the Atlanta Braves shipping off Dan Uggla to the Cincinnati Reds for Brandon Phillips, Dave O'Brien tweets.

The move would make sense for both teams. Both teams are trying to unload salaries they don't want, BP is a Georgia native, and Uggla has traditionally hit well at Great American Ballpark.
What may scare many is the mention of including a high-ranking prospect, but there have been no reports suggesting who that may be.
