Atlanta Braves’ Tim Hudson to Be Back at Full Strength by November

He'll technically be a free agent by then, but Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson will be completely healthy by early November, mlbtraderumors.com reports.

Hudson went 8-7 with a 3.97 ERA before having his ankle gruesomely broken when Eric Young, Jr. of the New York Mets accidentally stepped on it while Hudson was covering first base on July 24. He had surgery shortly thereafter and has been out since.

With so much young starting pitching it's unlikely that the Braves will bring back Hudson for 2014 unless it's on a one-year deal to provide stability and veteran leadership in the starting rotation.
