Atlanta Braves’ Magic Number Stays at Seven After Loss to Miami Marlins

The Atlanta Braves were unable to shrink their magic number past seven on Tuesday, losing 5-2 to the Miami Marlins.

The Washington Nationals didn't help any in their win over the New York Mets.

The absolute earliest the Braves can clinch the National League East, assuming the Braves win out and the Nationals lose out, is now Sunday against the San Diego Padres.
