Major League Baseball Announces 2013 Postseason Schedules

Schedules for all 2013 postseason games were released by Major League Baseball on Tuesday. The playoffs begin with the National League Wild Card game on Tuesday, October 1.

National Anthem

The American League Wild Card game will follow on Wednesday, October 2. 

Each National League Division Series will begin on Thursday, October 3 and each American League Division Series on Friday, October 4. The Division Series wraps up on October 10 with a potential Game 5 in the ALDS.

The National League Championship Series and the American League Championship Series will begin Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 respectively. Potential Game Seven's for each series will be October 19 for the NLCS and October 20 for the ALCS.

World Series play kicks off Wednesday, October 23 in the American League champions ballpark. July's All-Star game victory rewards the AL home field advantage for the World Series

The American League champs will host Games One and Two before shifting to the home of the National League winners for Games Three to Five. The series will wrap up with Games Six and Seven back in the AL. Game Seven of the World Series is scheduled for Halloween night.

All World Series games will be aired by Fox.
