Kris Medlen Evens Record with Great Start: Video

Kris Medlen showed the Atlanta Braves what they came to know and love in his dominant second half of last year on Tuesday. Have a look at his strong start in the video below.

Medlen went seven innings, giving up just one run and striking out nine. It seemed like he was going to take a tough-luck loss until Evan Gattis tied the game with a solo homer and Andrelton Simmons gave Atlanta the lead with a two-run homer.

The Braves' win over the New York Mets shrank their magic number to clinch the National League East to ten and to clinch homefield advantage to 22.
