Atlanta Braves reliever Jordan Walden will likely be out another week, as his sore groin cut short a bullpen session on Monday, ajc.com reports.

Walden, who picked a good time to be hurt with the September roster expansion, hasn't pitched in a game since Aug. 21.

“He threw a bullpen today, about five pitches, and it wasn’t good,” Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said. “So we’re still waiting. Hopefully he can bounce back in another week or so, five days. I’m not sure where we’re at as far as (time).”

Walden has a 2.47 ERA in 43 2/3 innings in his first season with Atlanta.
