B.J. Upton had four hits including a walk-off single in the bottom of the eleventh inning as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Miami Marlins 5-4 Saturday night.

It was a good sign for Braves fans to see an offensive outburst from Upton, who has been struggling at the plate all season. Upton also drove in three and scored a run.

Luis Ayala got the win for the Braves but starter Mike Minor pitched well, going seven innings and allowing four runs on five hits. Minor struck out six.

The Marlins were led by Justin Ruggiano who homered and drove in half of Miami's runs. Outfielder Giancarlo Stanton also homered for the Marlins.

It was the sixth straight win for the Braves, whose magic number to clinch a playoff berth dropped to 13. They lead the National League East by 15 games.

The Braves finish the series against the Marlins tomorrow in Atlanta at 5:05 PM.
