Jordan Walden hasn't appeared for the Atlanta Braves since throwing two innings in their 10-inning win over the New York Mets on Aug. 21, and it seems that Fredi Gonzalez told ajc.com that he's dealing with "leg issues."

Other than that vague description, Gonzalez said he thought Walden could pitch again in another day or two.

“We’ll throw him a little bullpen today, a little side, see how he feels,” Gonzalez said. “But I don’t think it’s anything lingering.”

Walden has had a time of it with injuries this season, ranging from a bulging disc in Spring Training to shoulder problems in May to getting hit in the hand with a comebacker earlier this month.

Despite all that, Walden has posted a 2.47 ERA in 43 2/3 innings in his first season in Atlanta.
