Dan Uggla kept up his routine of striking out, but he also collected a single and a homer for Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday. He is expected to be activated from the disabled list by the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday.

After striking out looking in the first and third innings, Uggla pounded a homer to left field in the fifth. He also added a single in the seventh inning before coming out of Gwinnett's 12-inning loss to the Norfolk Tides.

Overall, Uggla will likely end his rehab stint at 2-for-7 with four strikeouts in his first game action since undergoing LASIK surgery Aug. 13.
