After meeting with Dr. James Andrews on Monday, Brandon Beachy's elbow discomfort felt during his last start against the New York Mets is not serious, as expected by the Braves organization.

As reported by David O'Brien, the discomfort that Beachy was feeling was simply inflammation in his pitching elbow, meaning no repeated damage to his UCL. The Braves organization has not yet said if Beachy will re-enter the rotation, while many have speculated that Beachy may possibly be shut down for the rest of this year in preparation for his 2014 campaign with the Braves.
