In Dan Uggla's first minor league game action since LASIK surgery Aug. 13, it was pretty much what the Atlanta Braves have come to expect from the underperforming second baseman.

While batting second for Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday, Uggla struck out twice and grounded into a double play in three at-bats in Gwinnett's 13-1 loss to the Norfolk Tides.

It's hopefully just a timing issue for Uggla, who hasn't played at all in two weeks after undergoing LASIK eye surgery to correct his poor vision.

Uggla has hit .186 with 146 strikeouts this season.
