Atlanta Braves Only Team Still Under 50 Losses

The Atlanta Braves have had a spectacular season, there is no doubt about it. It's hard to argue with a 15-game division lead, not to mention the best record in baseball (76-49), with the closest team, the Pittsburgh Pirates, a full two games behind.

Can you say america?

The Braves have won 13 out of 17 in the month of August, which includes the tail end of their 14-game winning streak that ended in a 1-0 loss to the Miami Marlins on August 10th.

Should the Braves pick up tonight's game against the Mets, they would continue to hold their record under 50 losses as they head to St. Louis to take on the Cardinals, then wrapping up their road trip at Progressive Field against the Cleveland Indians.

With only 37 games left in the regular season, should the Atlanta Braves continue their current production, it would be no stretch of the imagination for them to finish well under sixty losses on the season.
