Atlanta Braves prospect Sean Gilmartin has been on the shelf since June 16, but he made a strong, efficient start with Triple-A Gwinnett in a loss Thursday.

Gilmartin needed only 58 pitches to get through five innings against the Durham Bulls, scattering four hits while striking out one and issuing no walks.

Gilmartin too a no decision while Gwinnett lost their 30th one-run game of the season.

It was the first start with Gwinnett for Gilmartin since June 16, citing a case of shoulder tendonitis. He was the Braves' first-round pick in the 2011 draft out of Florida State University.
