Atlanta Braves are Undefeated Since Installing Waffle House at Turner Field

The Atlanta Braves are the hottest team in baseball, riding a 13-game winning streak in their three-game series with the Miami Marlins on Friday. It just happens that their winning streak started July 26, the same day Waffle House made its Turner Field debut.

Since that fateful day, the Braves have scattered, covered and swept the St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals. They've outscored opponents by a whopping 57-31 margin.

Kris Medlen has picked up three of his nine wins this year. The Braves have also hurled two shutouts, while Craig Kimbrel has saved eight of those games, only stopping so Jordan Walden can pad his save total as well.

WaHo has also fueled the Upton brothers in a way Atlanta hasn't seen this season.

Justin Upton is riding a 12-game hitting streak, hitting .440 with five homers in that span. B.J. Upton, meanwhile, just got off the disabled list August 3, but he's hit .476 with two doubles and three steals after going on the DL with a .177 average.

All this has lead to the Braves widening their National League East over the Washington Nationals to 15 1/2 games, and they've even brought their road record above .500.

Yes, there's definitely something in those waffles.
