The Atlanta Braves are by far the hottest team in Major League Baseball. They take their 10-game winning streak to the nation's capital Monday for a three-game set with the Washington Nationals.

The Nationals have been one of MLB's most disappointing teams this season, and the Braves currently possess a 12 1/2-game lead over them in the National League East.

Who's chopping:

Chris Johnson has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games, hitting .451 in the process.

Since his return from the disabled list, B.J. Upton has gone 3-for-9 with a double in two games.

In his last 30 appearances, Craig Kimbrel has allowed one earned run and struck out 46.

Who's flopping:

The Nationals haven't been able to figure out how to hit this year; they rank 14th in the National League in runs scored.
