Atlanta Braves center fielder B.J. Upton is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab stint with Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday, ajc.com reports.

Upton has been out since June 12 with a strained right adductor muscle. He is currently scheduled to play in three rehab games, working up from two at-bats to four.

It's possible that Upton could be activated from the disabled list as soon as Saturday.

Upton has hit a Major League-worst .177 in 84 games. Hopefully, he's used this time on the disabled list to finally get his swing ironed out.
