The Atlanta Braves landed lefty reliever Scott Downs, but they didn't bring home Brian Wilson. Wilson has signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, espn.com reports.

The plan is for Wilson to spend two weeks working at the Dodgers' Spring Training facility in Arizona and transition to Class-A Rancho Cucamonga before finally joining the Dodgers.

Wilson had his second career Tommy John surgery last April after making just two appearances with the San Francisco Giants.

Wilson as 171 career saves in seven Major League seasons. He is a three-time All-Star and closed out the 2010 World Series for the Giants.
