Brandon Beachy, Jordan Schafer Have Twitter Tiffle Over George Zimmerman Verdict

Being on the disabled list has led to two Atlanta Braves apparently spending a little bonding time on Twitter, most notably when Brandon Beachy seemingly called out Jordan Schafer for his reaction to the George Zimmerman not guilty verdict.

It started with Schafer's reaction immediately after the Zimmerman verdict was announced.

Beachy then told Schafer, "Save it," in a reply, to which Schafer (seemingly jokingly) replied, "You save it."

Beachy then slapped him with a tweet he later deleted, which may or may not have gone over Schafer's head. Luckily, the Internet archives everything, and this screenshot was found at tweeting-athletes.com.

It's very likely Beachy jumped on Schafer in an attempt to quell any bad press in an organization that's known for it's lack of press outbursts. Kudos to both of them for staying classier than Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, who tweeted that jurors should commit suicide, and New York Giants Brandon Jacobs and Victor Cruz, who went on tirades of their own.
