It's all well and good, but as a reminder, the #VoteFreddie hashtag that Major League Baseball will use to tally votes for Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman in the 2013 All-Star Game Final Vote on Twitter doesn't work until Thursday. Braves' fans efforts are paying off though, as Freeman leads in the early count.
The hashtag #VoteFreddie will work on Thursday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT. Any tweet containing the hashtag will be counted among Freeman's vote count, with no vote limit.
Fans can also text "N2" to 86269 to vote for Freddie, or they can vote at mlb.com with no limitations.
As an aside, the Braves and Toronto Blue Jays have announced an alliance in voting for reliever Steve Delabar in exchange for Blue Jays fans voting for Freeman.
