Bethancourt, who went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in last year's Futures Game, has improved his offense to the tune of a .257 average with three homers and 17 RBIs through 43 games at Double-A Mississippi. His biggest tool is his defense behind the plate. He was signed out of Panama by the Braves in 2008.
Terdoslavich started at Triple-A Gwinnett last season but was demoted while struggling offensively and defensively at third and first base. Since transitioning to the outfield, "Terdo" has hit .324 with 17 homers and 56 RBIs for Gwinnett. He was drafted by the Braves in the sixth round of the 2010 draft.
The 15th annual Futures Game is scheduled for All-Star Sunday, July 14 at 2 p.m. EDT.
