In what likely sounds like a bigger deal than it is, Atlanta Braves pitching prospect J.R. Graham is headed to Atlanta to hvae his bothersome right shoulder examined by the team orthopedist, ajc.com reports.
Graham exited Double-A Mississippi's game on Monday prior to the third inning with soreness in his shoulder. Tests to evaluate strength and stability were "encouraging," but the first examination he received ended up being inconclusive.
Graham is currently 1-3 with a 4.04 ERA in eight starts this season.
