Atlanta Braves center fielder B.J. Upton may have the worst luck of any Major League player this year. In the Braves' 10-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday, Upton was drilled in the shoulder by a Wade Miley pitch in the sixth inning, eventually resulting in his departure from the game.
Upton would score on Justin Upton's homer a few pitches later and he played the outfield in the bottom of the sixth, but he had to come out before his at-bat in the seventh when he wasn't able to swing the bat.
The Braves officially consider Upton day-to-day and it's currently doubtful that he'll play in Tuesday's game, though he may be available on Wednesday.
