Snow postponed the first game on Monday, meaning it will be made up as a doubleheader on Tuesday, complicating things for Dan Uggla, who says he can play all 18 innings coming off a calf strain. Fredi Gonzalez is understandably hesitant, but he may wait to see how Uggla handles the first game.
In what will be a great boost to the offense, Freddie Freeman will see his first Major League action in two weeks after straining an oblique muscle. The Braves only managed three runs over their last three games and have been particularly struggling to get runners on base, so look for Freeman to inject some life into the lineup.
The Rockies, meanwhile, are winners of eight of their last nine games to tie the Braves for the best record in baseball. The Braves could be able to help themselves though when they face Jeff Francis, who currently owns an 8.25 ERA.
