Apparently, coming back from just a shoulder injury was too simple for Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann. Braves.com reports that McCann has cut short his rehab on his surgically repaired right shoulder to have his right wrist examined.
McCann had been in Orlando at extended Spring Training but has gone back to Atlanta, citing tenderness in the wrist.
"We're not sure yet," general manager Frank Wren told braves.com when asked when McCann might catch in a game as part of his rehabilitation.
Wren also clarified that the wrist injury is independent of the shoulder problem.
