The Atlanta Braves travel to Florida on their first road trip of the year to play the Miami Marlins in a three-game series. It starts a strange string of games in which they have two off days in eight days but only have four more home games the rest of the month of April.
The Braves come off a red hot home stand with a 5-1 record, tied for the best in baseball. Justin Upton will look to continue his torrid pace of five homers in the Braves' first six games, which leads the National League.
The Marlins enter Monday as the Braves' polar opposite with a 1-5 record. They've only hit two homers all year and Giancarlo Stanton is hitting a paltry .182 with 10 strikeouts so far.
Atlanta simply owned the Marlins last season by going 14-4 against them, limiting them to two runs or fewer in 12 of those games.
