Dan Uggla has moved into Chipper Jones' old locker at the Atlanta Braves Spring Training complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Dave O'Brien reports.
Uggla said he often felt lost or isolated in his old locker, which was only around eight feet away but just on the other side of a door to an equipment room and clubhouse offices.
The main difference in Uggla's new locker is that Chipper was given two lockers. Uggla will not be afford two lockers, since that's reserved for the game's most veteran players and some catchers, who just have more equipment than everyone else.
Only Chipper and John Smoltz had occupied that locker in the last 15 years at the park.
Jason Heyward has since moved into Uggla's former locker residence.
