Former Atlanta Braves pitcher Jair Jurrjens can't seem to catch a break with his balky knee, as the Baltimore Orioles still have yet to finalize his one-year, $1.5 million contract, Roch Kubatko tweets.
Kubatko reports that the Orioles are still in the process of Jurrjens' physical exam, noting the health of his knee that caused him to hobble to a 6.89 ERA in just 48 1/3 innings in 2012 with the Braves.
Orioles general manager Dan Duqette hopes to have "the situation resolved" by the beginning of Spring Training, Kubatko reports. Pitchers and catchers report Tuesday.
