Loading ...The Atlanta Braves have determined how B.J. Upton, Justin Upton, Reed Johnson and Chris Johnson will be identified on the backs of their jerseys in 2013, Dave O'Brien tweets.
O'Brien confirmed with Jim Misudek, a member of the Braves public relations department, that each Upton brother will simply have "Upton" and each Johnson will simply have "Johnson."
It does depart from the days when Chipper Jones and Andrew Jones displayed their first initial before their last name, but the move may provide a cleaner look.
