The Atlanta Braves are in contract negotiations with relief pitcher Chad Durbin, Dave O'Brien reports.

Durbin led the Braves with 76 appearances in 2012. He struggled at the start of the season but strung together a 1.62 ERA in 62 games after May 1 to bring his season ERA down to 3.10.

Durbin was picked up during Spring Training after the Washington Nationals released him. He has a 4.95 career ERA in 13 seasons.
