The Atlanta Braves had 10 players become free agents on Monday, the most of any team in the National League and nearly 10 percent of the 137 total Major League free agents.
Braves free agents include Jeff Baker, Miguel Batista, Michael Bourn, Matt Diaz, Chad Durbin, Eric Hinske, Reed Johnson, Lyle Overbay, David Ross and Ben Sheets, though Sheets has announced his retirement.
Atlanta would like to bring back Durbin and Johnson and will likely re-sign Ross.
Of course, the biggest name in the group is Bourn, and his story will be the most interesting to follow this offseason.
Players are free to talk to any team beginning at 12:01 am on Saturday.
