If the Atlanta Braves are out of the National League East division race by Wednesday, manager Fredi Gonzalez may elect to have Randall Delgado and Julio Teheran pitch the season finale.

Tim Hudson is currently scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, if the Braves are no longer in the running for the division crown, Gonzalez will likely scratch Hudson from his start so that he would be available to potentially start Game 1 of the National League Division Series should the Braves advance past the one-game playoff.

Delgado and Teheran could both pitch multiple innings, and Ben Sheets could possibly get some work in after not pitching for over a month.

"Maybe if we don't have to use Huddy, then split it with the kids," Gonzalez said. "Maybe you go with Teheran and Delgado, maybe throw Sheets in there, give him a couple innings."

Delgado and Teheran were both part of the September call-ups from Triple-A Gwinnett, but neither player has pitched this month after being promoted.
