Chipper Jones made no excuses for the loss the Atlanta Braves incurred last night at the hands of the Colorado Rockies, but he made sure the Atlanta faithful knew he thought they needed to be, well, more faithful.
A scant 16,686 people showed up to watch the Braves lose 6-0 to the Rockies, even though they are leading the National League Wild Card race and are second in the NL East.
The Braves currently rank 16th in the Major Leagues with an average attendance of 29,247 and 19th in terms of percentage with 66.6 percent of Turner Field full.
