Following a second straight rough start by Jair Jurrjens on Sunday, the Atlanta Braves will skip his next turn in the starting rotation.

After consecutive starts of allowing six runs or more and putting up a 7.04 ERA over 10 starts this season, Jurrjens very well may have pitched his last as a Brave. The off day on Thursday will allow the Braves to throw Ben Sheets on Friday, followed by Mike MInor and Tim Hudson, who will be on regular rest.

Jurrjens latest struggles come after spending two months in Triple-A Gwinnett earlier this year.
