Just turn Turner Field into an infirmary; the Atlanta Braves have another injury to deal with. David Ross was forced to exit Friday's game with the Washington Nationals with a leg injury, forcing Brian McCann to play with the flu.
Ross appeared to injure his groin on a check swing on a 3-2 slider from Ross Detwiler. It was ruled that he held up on the swing, but he immediately grabbed his groin area in pain before trotting to first base on a walk.
Ross' injury resulted in McCann pinch-running and remaining in the game. He had been held out of the starting lineup for the fourth straight game as he battles a case of flu.
