Freddie Freeman has been rolling as of late for the Atlanta Braves, and it was announced Monday that he was named the National League Player of the Week for April 30-May 6.

For Freeman, it is the second time he has won the award in three weeks, and understandably so. He hit .367 last week and tied for the big league lead with 23 total bases. He hit three homers and 10 RBIs.

Freeman recorded hits in six of seven games last week, hit his first career triple and ended the week with three consecutive multi-hit/multi-RBI games.

Freeman ranks third in the NL in RBIs (26) and is tied for third in runs scored (21).
