Atlanta Braves' veteran pitcher Tim Hudson struggled mightily in his second rehab assignment of the season, picking up his second consecutive loss while starting for the Class-A Rome Braves.
The right-hander pitched just four innings, allowing five earned runs on nine hits while recording only one strikeout. Hudson also had a wild pitch and hit a batter while running his record to 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA in two starts for Rome.
Hudson, who is recovering from back surgery that occured in November, is scheduled to make three or four more minor league starts before being called up in May.
