Loading ...Brandon Hicks has met the end of his tenure with the Atlanta Braves.
The 26-year-old infielder was was waived by the Braves and subsequently claimed by the Oakland A's on Tuesday. He was 1-for-10 with seven strikeouts in Grapefruit League play this year.
Hicks spent most of last season with Triple-A Gwinnett, hitting .252 with a .333 OBP and 18 homers in 361 at-bats.
In 33 games over two seasons, Hicks went a combined 1-for-28 with the Braves.
