After sustaining a Grade 1 concussion in a one-car accident on Feb. 20, Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Tommy Hanson will finally make his first Spring Training start on Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays in a split-squad game.
Hanson threw his first live batting practice on Tuesday, and Fredi Gonzalez said he was ready to get back on the hill after a Thursday session.
Sean Gilmartin will get the other start for the Braves, also against the Blue Jays. Gilmartin was the Braves' first pick in the 2011 draft.
