Atlanta Braves general manager Frank Wren informed the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Dave O'Brien that the club will probably not make a trade this off-season, O'Brien tweeted on Friday.
"Every day that goes by it’s probably less likely," Wren said. "It doesn’t mean you stop trying."
Wren did leave open the possibility of making a move after Spring Training starts next month.
The Braves have been actively shopping Martin Prado and Jair Jurrjens this winter, mainly in an effort to provide the youth in the rotation an opportunity for experience.
